SC STATE CHAMPIONSHIP PULL

Five tractor clubs/pulling orginations met several times over the last 2 years to work out the rules and to put this pull together, they are Salkahatchie Antique Tractor Association, Low Country Antique Power Association, Aiken Antique Power Association, Sunny Plains Antique Power Association and Sandhill Antique Tractor Pulling Association.

The basic rules are:
Pullers must belong to a SOUTH CAROLINA Tractor club/ pulling association and be selected by their club to represent them at the pull.
Hitch height 20 inches
Hitch Length 20 inches minimum stock and 18 inches for super
Stock class 3 mph 1st or 2nd gear
Super class 7.5 mph up to 3rd gear
Tire sizes for stock tractors
3000,4000,4500 stock class max tire size 13.6x38 on a 12 in rim
4500,5000,5500 Max tire size 14.9x38 on a 13 in rim
6000,6500 max tire size 16.9x38 on a 15 in rim 7000,7500,8500,9500 max tire size 18.4x38 on a 17 in rim
10500,12500 max tire size 23.1x34 on a 22 in rim
Super tractors can run up to a 24.5x32 tire.
All tractors must have wheelie bars.

These are just the highlights of the rules and I can email a more complete set of rules to you.
The pull will be at the SATPA Track in Pageland SC. We will have a PLAY PULL Friday night starting at 6 PM on Nov 25th. The PLAY pull is open to anyone wanting to have a good time and to spend Friday evening at the track. The hook fee for the play pull is $5.00 per hook. The STATE pull will be Sat Nov 26 starting at 12 PM. The hook fee for the STATE pull will be $20.00 per hook. After the State pull is completed we will have a another pull for anyone who wants to come and pull and it will be by the regular SATPA rules and classes. Hook fee will be $10.00 per hook.
