how far can you stroke this motor and yous stock rods and pistons can you get a 1 inch

Im not sure,,, Its tight in there now with the stock rods,,, Look for a set of rods that have offset rod caps and that will give some more room to swing,,, If its a diesil, are you running a charger on it? Chad

Id say you could put a 3/8 total stroker in it and not have to do too much clearance work,,, Your compression will be alot higher if you do not recut the pistons to match the compression height for the new stroke,,, What I seen as the problem with going over that with stock rods are the nuts hitting the side of the block hard,,, maybe have the rod bolts inverted, redrilled and tapped so they thread into the rod instead of having the nuts,, that would give you a little more room to go more stroke.
