Open Antique Puller 1938 John Deere G. This has been my pride and joy for a long time. I began running this tractor in stock antique and last year made the jump to the open class. Tractor was professionally painted and restored (Detweiler Tractor Restoration) prior to me owning it. This tractor has been professionally built/ setup/ tuned. Stroke 9.25 Bore 7.5. The crank is Merfeld as is the cam shaft and rods. The block, head and manifold are Jerrys. The current magneto is a magneeders mag. (When sold it will come with a MSD Box and Coil never used). The carburetor was done by Detwiler Two Cylinder. Electric Fan with automatic turn off/ on thermostat. Aluminum 2.5 gallon fuel tank. Fuel pump is a Holley Red. Weight brackets in the front, middle, and rear as well as adjustable skid bars. Tractor comes with the tires pictured (18.4X38 with a fresh sharp bar) rims also have weight brackets located in the center. References available. Tractor weights 5000 pounds bare. 4th gear in 5500 and 6000 not a problem. Moving to the turbo farm class. 17,500. I will talk price. Ask for picture(s).

Ask for pictures and I will send them. Price is set high but I will talk price.

Besides posting his tractor for sale in the discussion forum, he doesn't really seem to know all that much about his tractor. He has been on here before asking alot of questions that if he was such a hardcore puller, he shouls know. Then, he talks about moving to turbo class, and is doing the same thing...asking which tractor would be better for pulling, a 5020 or 6030. Tells people to watch out for his 6030 next spring, and then is on classifies asking if anyone has one for sale. What gives? And at 17500, plan on keeping it around!

Easy guys, everybody needs to learn one way or another. Maybe he is like some pullers I run across, he may just have the cash to buy one and have it ready for next pulling season. How did you guys get your knowledge, probably from asking or watching other people, I thought thats what this forum was for anyway.

That one kind of backfired on you, didn't it? Just what you deserve for attempting to make a "smart remark"...

No.

You all can have your ytmag.com... you will never see me here again. Thank you.

Tractor is being looked at on Friday. Buyer has cash in hand and wants to confirm condition. Consider it sold.

Thank you Albert Lea for a large amount of motivation.
