we pull around the Tulsa area. We pull with CASTA - the truly "stock" club - can't be tweaking your tractors at all. However, we have pulled our MM some with Green Country, simply because it is a strong tractor and they have several different classes going from straight stock to open pocket book. You may have talked with Hubby about the MM you have on here for sale - his name is Brett and he called a guy in the OKC area about one a couple of months ago, might that be you?

Hey lafngas... Green Country classes start at 2500lbs (Div II) with a speed limit of 3MPH. All others are 3.5 with except of the Open class which is 12MPH.

Green Country pullers will weight up higher if you show up with a heavier tractor. We usually pull at 7600#. I pull a little VAC in the 3300# class with CASTA.

I did not know that was told 7200 was as high as thay pull. ok now you say casta pulls stock only? what weight can i pull thier do thay pull 2600 and up are thay all first gear pulls down here we can pull up to 4 1/2 mph start at 2600 and pull 3500 to 10.500 at a thousand pounds breaks cut tires in open class and no radial tires allowed. I own my own sled so we pull every weekend for fun at home when we arnt in the fields working.

we pull 2600#, 2900, 3300, 3600, 4600, 5600, 6600, 7600 and 8600 and most of the smaller classes have Antique and Classic categories both. Smaller classes speed limit is 3 mph, larger classes it is 3.5 mph. Most pull in first gear, but some pull in second and third gear as well - whatever you have umph enough to get the sled moving goes as long as you don't honk the horn or give sledjockey whiplash. No cut tires and everything is to be factory/stock. Now, tell me about your sled. We are thinking about putting one together over here just for fun pulls. During July and August, just about every one of our scheduled pulls got cancelled due to heat and hubby and I and a couple of others are wanting to put one together just for play. We got a good place for a track and are thinking if we can get everything together, we would put in some lights so we can pull at night during the heat.
