MH 101 Sr.
MH 101 Super
MH 44-6

Not really any one in the bunch that is extremely successful at pulling. Stock type pulling, you would probably do okay. The factory flathead six engine is very limited on overbore and stroking compared to the other tractors. For example the 4cyl MH44 can be built to nearly 600 cubes and over 180HP at stock RPMS with a "stock block". There have been some that have taken an MH 44-6 tractor and installed a Continetal B-427 flathead in place of the original engine. These B-427's are approximately 100HP in stock form and make a formidable competitor with many other tractors, though highly "illegal" in nature...

I would like to see somebody build a 744 with the Perkins 6 cylinder in it. I would think that there would be some potential there. But when was the last time you saw one in the US? :-)

If you want the flathead, go MOPAR! If you have the 101. 44-6's I like the mention of the 427, seen one quite a while back in Hartford KY, was impressive. We built a stroker Chrysler 6cyl 2 years back,, there is not much on the bore, but, you can stroke them a little bit using IH C-153 rods and the chrysler pistons. made about 75 hp, its in a 101. You can make a 101 massey run with a F 226 in it run very well. I am 2nd in the points in the 4200#- 3 1/2 mph and 2nd in the 4200# Fast class.
The old girl will pull with any 4200# tractor. It will pull in 3rd if I need it.
The motor in the tractor has not been opened in 25 years. So can you make a 101 run, YES! Two weeks ago in the 4200# class Pink Power a AC model C almost beat the old girl,I only beat her by 8 Feet.
She pulls 2700# -- 4200# classes in North Carolina.
