EGS,, why not put one together yourself? Problem is with that is no one likes to be second guessed by being asked questions, after the deal is said and done. Why do I say that?? Ill tell you why,, Some shops,, they want to sell you what they have. all ready, sitting on the floor, not in running condition, and you have to put it it in the tractor, and get it running. I think some expect the buyer to know enough about engines to get them running, but, their is always the chance where the buyer does not know what he or she is doing when it comes down to tuning, and mantaining that tune periodicly. So,, you bought the farm,, bought the best on the market, you get ready to fire it up, but its not correct, you call up the place you got it from,,,, and they say,, its your baby, you deal with it. Doesnt that tick you off!!!!! !! So you search, and search,, spend even more money to find someone to fix the problem. I guess what Im getting at,, is when you buy a performance engine,, dont be afraid to ask questions up front, and if you feel that you are not getting what you are paying for,, you better find a better place to shop, if the "builder" cannot answer a question, or help the buyer out with problems that arise, do you think they would help you fix whats wrong? Sure they will! For a price, extra charges. Find a builder, that has the potential, and willingness to work with you one on one to help you learn more about your engine and how it will work for you. If you spend 6000+ on a motor from a builder, it should be tuned by that person that made the technology that gets the big power from that setup, that way it is right from the start, and you kepp that extra couple hundred bucks, and fill up your truck and pay entry fee, and maybe, take the family ou to eat to celebrate the success you and your builder have created. If you want a recommdation for a builder who I know can do the job right, ask for Wilson Machine, or "LW" on this forum. After reading the buildup on "project M" in the Old Power Pride Magazine, he can get the job done, and get you that big HP and get what you pay for. The proof is in the tractor,, not the check wrote that bought it. BUT,,, I just want to say,, I built a Super M this year,, that would love to go against that M here in Indiana! (Sorry guys,, had to say it)! Not on the dyno,,, but on the track. Look for LW sir, and if he cant help you, I dont think you would be happy with the rest. Just my honest 2 cents. Have fun shopping! 7 inch stroke 4 3/8 inch bore. Good head, intake, ignition, and carb matched to your setup. This makes 421 cubes. You can still use stock rods just narrowed and ground to clear everything.

The guys supermpuller listed all build good engines. It will cost a little more than doing it yourself, but will last, peace of mind is worth alot when you don"t have to worry about breaking it.
