Not a good shot but this and another WD9 were hooked together in series. That's all I have. Great day for pulling. The pull was located on private property. The only pull we have that is not during a fair. $20 bucks got you dinner and a hook with door prizes. Winner of each class could move up to next class for no additional fee. I took the 4500 LB class and came in 6th in the 5500 LB class. The classes at our pulls start at 3500 then go to 4500, 5500, 6500 up to 10500 and then an open class. Some pulls offer an antique open as well. Too much fun! Wouldn't miss a pull!

The guy's name is Henry Terpstra. It pulls pretty good. Has a different sound to it. I think he does get into the 10500 with it. He just got it this spring as this is is the first year he has had it to the pulls. He's the one with the 460 as well. Was my dad's 460 at one time. Dad bought it for $300 with the motor in boxes. He sold it a few years later for the same price. He never touched it after he found out how much it was going to cost to fix it. I wasn't into pulling at the time but now is dad kicking himself. That was back 10 years ago or so.

You can easily make 10500 with a 1900. We have a local guy that has a 2255 w/cat V8 and he's down close to 10,000!

Is it gutted? Mine weighed 12,500 when I started. That's with calcuim in the tires. I was hoping for around 8000# Guess not huh? Thanks,

I will have to talk to him this week and find out exactly what all he has done. I know he dumped the cast wheels and welded something like 1/4" steel plate into the rims for centers. It still has fenders on it and the heavy cast grill. It does have a narrow front under it. That thing will turn some awesome rpm and smoke pretty heavy too. I seem to remember him saying they got it down to 10,300 the way it is right now. That Cat V8 is pretty heavy, but capable of 225+ hp in stock trim.

Whats up 720Deere?
I removed the rear cast centers and welded in flat plate, installed a n/front end, removed the three point, one battery, only a 1/4 tank of fuel.
10,300 lb. My plan was to replace the cast nose with a fiberglass one. Lose another 350 lb.
Fuel turned up, let it spin @ 3000RPM.
A guy that saw it pull at Cecilton came in on Sat. and bought both of my 2255's from me. Don't worry, I'll start over!
