Hi, me again. This may be a little off the beaten path, but after reading about all the tricks you guys use for tractor pulls, I'm wondering if anyone out there is involved in tractor slow races. If so, what kind of stuff do you do to slow down your machines? And which machines are the best for this kind of competition? Maybe YT could start a site for slow racers.

Never competed in a slow race, but I tune my engine to run as slow as possible for an impressive idle. A tractor with a creeper first gear or torque amplifier and a big slow engine would work well. Maybe creeper gear Deere or a Jet Star or 5-star Moline. A Farmall MTA would work well. Smaller tires would be an advantage. Hydrostatic garden tractors work well.
