I went to that pull at Mike Marley farm Sat. and the people were great. As an outsider I felt like a close member puller. My contact person Robbie, and his team members were good to me too. I will try to get back again next year and maybe with "THUMPER". Jim runs a good sled and track crew. Thank you again for the day Rod

Hey John Deere Yellow, I enjoyed talking to you Saturday at Marley's Pull. Maybe you can come back and bring your tractor some time. We might can pull against each other and have some fun.

Wildman, Heard your having gear troubles. Kicking out, or? 4th gear? I found, the shifter forks are not strong enough on the 4th-5th forks, they bow,,, if it has any kind of grooves on the fork, it will ride crooked, and rub the gear, The wear tabs keep the tolerance, if they are gone, it wont hold, it will move back and forth, and that overthrusts the fork. Also, 4th gear is a soft gear, if there is any taper inthe gear teeth, it will kick out under torque, like a screw. I went back to 3rd gear with a W4 ring and pinion, havent tried it yet, but I went thru the shifter, gears and tolerances real good on my H, I think it will hold with a lock on the gear shifter in 4th. Springs are now heavier, and a good shifter fork. I also hardened the entire fork, so maybeit will hold up under stress. new gears,,,,, helps,, Chad
