I am just starting to pull at some of the antique tractor shows I have18.4 34,s on right now but would like to go to 18.4x38,radials. Would these tires be to big? I have lots of power in second gear.

Mr. Yeoman if Mr. Sharpie isn't interested in those 20.8 34's I am looking for a set for my 820. Where are you located and what shape are they in.

Thanks, LRN

Thanks for the info. I'm in Mich and that might be a bit far to travel. I would like to find something with about75% lug.

Thanks, LRN

Double bevel 20" rims with an old hard set of Firestone 23 degree 18.4x38's. Tough to beat.

If your 830 won't pull competitively, it's not the tire size at fault. 18.4s will pull very well on that tractor if everything else is setup properly. It may be the brand of tire more than anything else.

Why not try 20.8x34's? otherwise you'll have to get step up rims to go the the 38's. Plus you'll gain alot of wheel diameter that will affect your ground speeds.
