Hey Everyone.

I have a Stock 1940 Farmall "M" That I am going to enter into a pull this weekend in a pure stock #5000lb class. What kinds of things should i do before hand to get ready for this. Secrets to increase hp? Tire pressure? Allowed to increase RPM's 10%. Thanks for all the help.

bend the ends of your governor spring in a little (to shorten spring)..should get your 10%rpm's there...don't know what size tires, how good they are or what type of track you will have, but 7-12# air pressure is a starting point. Get to pull early and look at what the other pullers with the same type of tractor you have are doing... look and learn from them. Good luck and have fun.

I know who he is. I was just wondering if he was trying something different. Although i doubt he would need to ask any one for help on how to set up a tractor.
