I'm fairly new to this board... was there alot of the same "humor" posted here about Monica's "Presidental Knee Pads"???

I don't think that there is any question of what would have happened if Bush would have taken the Clinton approach (find a pill factory and bomb it) to Hussein (a know murder who had aready used chemical weapons on his own people, whose claim to have weapons of mass destruction {WMD}was surported by the best intelligence available). If Bush had the timeing/oppurtunity and did nothing and this country WAS attacked by terrorists with WMD from Hussein, Bush would be ripped and vilified (and rightfully so) forever.

With the information available to Bush AT THAT TIME, how could he make any other desecsion but the one he did? The lives of MILLIONS of American people were at stake! I glad that we had a person with enough guts to make that hard decesion!

We seem to have an over abundance of people who are great second guess-ers, but not alot of people willing to make the hard decesions.

Sorry for the rant and the bad spelling... I miss my spell-check!

I'm with Joe Cool, Lamont, B Barenie, Galen & Mopower. I go to bed at night knowing that George W has done everything he can to make me safe. I know he won't back down from cowards or bullies who think they can influence our foreign policy with terrorism.
Looks like Capt. Hook agrees with you since he can't pull as munch.

Oh yes, I forgot Bush has total dictatorial powers and if something happens to anyone's displeasure during his reign as king of the world, it must be all his fault because he has total control. I haul and I pull tractors so I pay my fair share in gas & diesel. The US is sitting on a gold mine of crude oil and we are not allowed to get it despite Bush's efforts to allow companies the freedom to try. If it ever happened, we would shut down the middle east. (And no, it does not require any enviromental destruction. They drill in Michigan where I go camp. The birds and bees don't mind much.)

I'm just happy we're paying that $2.50 in US Dollars. Also, imagine what that fuel would be costing us if Hussein controlled the biggest part of it. Or just think about our MORAL obligation to the world since we are ONE NATION UNDER GOD. Oops !! Sorry !! I forgot Slick Willy. You don't understand the word MORAL. I forget sometimes that former President Clinton was in his second term before he learned the word "harass" was one word.

I think it's probably better than it would be if we were discussing President "Hussein." Sometimes debt doesn't matter as much as other things. Been griping about having so many reserves over there? We wouldn't have to have so many reserves deployed if we hadn't cut over 725,000 FULL-TIME military positions to help "balance" the budget. Who cares if the budget is balanced? Those who are blind to our vulnerability, (our citizens), and those who love our vulnerability, (our enemies). You decide which category you prefer. A budget is all on paper anyway. Oh, about the higher fuel prices and all the BS about that keeping people away from our tractor pulls, I hear fuel is really cheap in Iraq. However, it seems their attendance at tractor pulls is worse than ours. I guess it all depends on how you look at our situation. No, President Bush is probably not my favorite, but thank GOD we are "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" and it was founded on the ONLY true GOD: JESUS CHRIST. I'm afraid things are not going to start looking better until we start remembering that.
