so what part of the state you pull in and what classes, seen the tractor in the hook , and out side of the colibia building and have pics of it, i i could get the tractor done sooner i would come over to a pull closer to you i like to pull other places and meet new people, as far as the crank thing super lurker is right it need to be dropped its just a crank, friend ship it greater then a crank, like i said its my fault and a mans to, so i am going to drop this stuppied stuff and let it go time to go pulling although i am going to have to wait awhile tell i get mine back togethr again, Have any of you guy had your pistons coated to stop detnaion and heat tranfer to the pistons,i am going to try this to see if it well help,

I pull in central Missouri (see link for schedule). Usually run 4000-5500lbs.

The pistons I'm running now have a coating on the skirt, mostly for wear. I dont remember what its called, but its the same stuff Federal Mogal uses.

the coating i am going to use is this brand techline coating go there they have stuf for ex, and heads, bearings, and pistons for top and side wear, its should help with deantion and heat build up in the combustion chamber,nice site and pics, two years ago myself and daghter pulled over there in chilohowe in the 4500 with a nice looking 52 B jd at 3;00 in the mornning she got second, nice show and pull over there the sled broke down about 12; 30 that night,

i personally like the 5000 and 5500 class in div III and i dont know if my own weight as a human makes any difference but i all ways seem to pull a few inches futher than o,sk most of the time but not always o,sk has taught me so much about grip and where it goes and how the tractor works more than anything we work as a team and share info too each other to better our selfs i too am building an 37a or shall i say its going to have o,skpullers brains in it lol

is that your G piston? or is that just one that has the coating for example? if its out of the G, what kinda numbers did it give for the build, good or kinda so/so? am interested in this coating story....
