i have a stroker G having trouble keeping fly wheel tight. what is the part # for the correct wrench to see if i can buy to keep it tighter thanks!!! friend told me i could get it tighter wiyh a factory wrench-- 46 gm

The grade two bolts used from the factory were either under tightened by some farmer who didn't use a torque wrench. Or over tightened and stretched. The end result is not enough clamping force. If the spline sare not too badly chewed.You maybe able to use grade eight blts with tall grade eight nuts and hardened washers. Put never seize on the threads and washers only. Using a 90 degree extention torque the bolts to 325 lb ft. If that doesn't work it's taper-loc time.

I borrowed one from a friend and then took a long 3/4 in. extention and bent it to the same shape. With a 3/4 in drive you have the option of different sizes and much better ability to tighten it to stay. Jon

I see them on ebay from time to time, here's one on there now. item #7530220761 They make it much easyer to tighten and loosen the flywheels on JD's. Good Luck Mark

i have some orange stripes on that g but it from running past them ac's by about 100 feet or so and about 3500 more pounds!!!!! hahahaha good luck pulling and be safe (better yet green luck)
