farmall h bore and stroke

Does anybody know what the biggest bore and stoke ispossible on a 350 block. I'm currently running 3.75 bore and 5.250 stroke and it just isn't enough. Just looking for some ideas thanks !

I run a 3-13/16 X 5.25 H Faramll, runs great! lots more I could do to it, but it usually pulls 3rd gear with cut 15.5's on 16 inch rims up to 4000lbs and have good power, and good luck with it. Ran it last nite, got 2nd and 3rd. I run 4mph modified classes, 10% rpms, 0-4500lbs and 4501-5500 mod classes. Just a tough ol H. Ive got one thats bigger cubes, but, its alot more power than what this one makes. What carb and intake you running? fuel? how much compression? maybe you just need to do a bit more work to it to dial it in? Chad

I pull in div. 4 which the allis boys are putting out aruond 400 cubes. Most of the time i'm right behind them. I hardly seldom get over third gear. I have lp intake and a very good 350 carb. The head is a high compression with port and polish. maybe I need half gears to give me more speed. Like a M&W transmition or a w4 ring and pinion.

I GOT A BIG CUBE H THAT I RAN FOR THE FIRST TIME MONDAY .THE PRACHER RUNS A 386 AC WE BEAT HIM BY 12 FT AT 10.9MPH MOST LIKELY GOT LUCKY.

Wildman, what are the specs on your motor? I am getting ready to do a big motor. I already have the crank, but I was wondering what you did for block work, and who did it. Any info would be appreciated. I need it to be done by Febuary, for a pull in March. 7-8 months go by quickly.. Andy

I see,,, No, I dont think your engine is big enough, I know my engine at 5.25 wont run with the big HP AC's, at no speed limit, the torque is not there, it will lug out and spin everytime. Still in 3rd gear. Been there, done that, thats why at the time, we built a big cube H to run em down, and we got r done! I made a mistake of going too big, 340ci, and it puked, before,, I had a 270ci engine, and man,, that would flat git with it, Im building a duplicate of my old 270 as we speak, bout 100+hp, we ran a engine like it for years, 4th gear, 15.5's or 14.9's, 4th gear up to 4250, 3rd in 4500 and up solidly. in speed limit classes, it was just too strong, in the open class, it was a powerhouse, broke many 4th gears in it, now, it sports a W4 ring and pinion, and beefed up shifter forks, and got the 4th gear of my dreams, just waiting on time to finish. MY H, at the time, wasnt scared of an AC. Just drove by em. its a 5-3/4 stroke X 3-13/16 bore. Cant wait. Chad

how do you get 5.25" stroke from an h? Is there a stroker kit you can buy? If so where do I get one
