I have a 41 oliver 70. I pull 4000 - 4500lbs going to overhall the engine and was woundering for any performance help Im limited to 1800 rpm.

I built one to 325 ci,runs good but if I had it to do over,I'd restore it and build a 77.You get alot more out of them for the money.However if you want to stick with the continental run a hiesler manifold get the older (bigger) zenith carb,take .125 off the head,just remember to shim the rocker arms back up and you will have to make the holes in the side cover bigger to bolt back up to the head.I don't know how far you want to go with it but if you have any questions I'll let you know what I can. As far as bore and stroke,all it takes is $$$$ and work.

Are the Hiesler heads for Oliver 70's still available? Do they appear similar to stock?
