how much should ih suitcase weights go for? i saw 100 pound weights for 67 dollars a peice and 75 pound weights for 52. thanks

There is a company making reproduction IH weghts and you can buy them cheaper than the original weights.

Around here (western Pa.) they seem to go around a dollar a pound.

Around here any kind of suitcase weights vary from sale to sale. We bought 27 JD 100# suitcase weights at a auction last weekend for $11.00 per weight, the weight bracket for the front of a late model JD for $5.00( always sells for scrap iron), 3 sets of MM 500# rear wheel weights for $10 a pair, and 6 pair of JD 200# rear wheel weights for $50 for all 6 pairs. Had a neighbor buy a set of JD suitcases with bracket for his 4855 at auction 3 weeks ago that cost him $500 for the set.

I bought 75 lbs weights (12) at $25 a piece from a JD dealer. When I was looking though 75 lbs weights were going for $35-45 and 100 lbs were going from $45-60.

i would think you should beable to sell the foundary weights for more than IH weights.
their are less of them and the JD boys wouldn't have to grind IH off them before they go pulling!

the 75s are really cheap,and the 100s are fairly cheap.
i have watched them go on auctions for $95 for 100s and $120 for 75s.
although i would not pay that much for them,but the ones you listed sound more than fair.

The original weights weill weigh 5-10lbs. more than a foundary weight. It guess they were casted better.
