help with clutch and flywheel

crank case has crank in it with flywheel and clutch on it and it turns free. rear end turn free when out of gear. slide the two together with all the bolts in and she locks up. whats our problem.

are you putting any bolts in where people normally hang a belly bracket. if you are the bolts may be too long and hitting the flywheel.

no i'm using orginal bolts. there is a spiral groove in the pilot bearing that we think is holding it from going all the way back. is that spiral groove suppose to be there. and if not what could have put it there
