That is a great way to start the season but why don`t you shut up til after Bowling Green or Fort Recovery? You don`t pull or have anything in it so let Gettingers and Adam Harris settle it!

yeah yeah yeah...

I guess you can be forgiven the exuberance. It's been, what, 20 years since a green one did anything in heavy smokin' SS?

All the same, though, they are doing a good job and Loren's a pretty good driver. It's making the class exciting.

CP if you don`t know why comment? The last John Deere Grand National Super Stock Diesel Champion was Ernie and Warren Ropp from Kalona, Iowa with a John Deere 4430 named Iron Elk in 1986.

I thought about halfway through last year the Gettinger's had the power and wheelspeed to compete with the top guys in the Super Stock class. Some bad luck always seemed to keep them from reaching the top though. I hope they're able to hang on and be consistent this year. It looked like in 2003 Jeff Demers was going to get a Deere to the top, but he fell off the radar after one season and only notched a couple of victories last year. He looks to be off to a slow start this year while the Gettingers are dominating. I am anxious to see how they do in Tomah this weekend.
