All I can find is the stock firecrater style piston. The direction arrow on the piston, will still face to the front of the front of the block. When you bore a H block out that far, it is strong, but, it will have one cyl that will have a rust pit from the outside in, and you will find it. A repair sleeve is the easiest fix. Yeah, you could hard block it, I have a 1 inch stroker engine that has ran for several years with no hard block, never had trouble, it does have one repair sleeve in it from the start. The C-175 headgasket seals up the bores, it has a larger diameter fire ring VS the H gasket. You will have to cut the cam down inbetween the lobes so the rods will clear, you will have to cut the rods down too for clearence. Best thing to do is to make it swing in the block, without the cam, then add the cam and youll see where you have to cut the cam. Anyone with a lathe and has a good deal of patience can cut the cam. I like the idea of the LP head, and the firecrater pistons! On my big H engine, Im still running the 8043DD head, It has a high compression chamber, but it is so small in diameter, where the LP head is spanned all the way across the bore of the block, its more open, and has more room to hold the explosion, where on my cyl head, it has only 1/2 across the piston for combustion area. I think you would get more out of the firecrater design with the LP head, more room to move. You cant stuff much of a dome in there though,,,, maybe 1/4 dome, maybe a hint more, but the LP heads are pretty shallow, just watch out for tight areas on the pistons, and the head, and the valves.
