how light can you get one with a 4755 engine in it?

4020 that is around here with 466,p-pump and S-3 turbo can get into the 5500 class,he has aluminum wheels out back though.

our 4320 will pull in the 8000# class with stock engine. the lift arms are off, clamshell fenders, peg wheel off early JD split pedistals (60/70's), and no weight brackets. we have M@W 9 bold hubs, 20.8x38 cuts on thin pressed steal wheels. hope this helps a little.

You outta be able to get it down to 9500#. Watch how heavy you build your hitch and weight brackets. Install different hubs and pressed steel wheels, tricycle front end, no rollbar/canopy, and you outta be there.

I've got mine down to 6,000, but it's gas. I know of another one down to 5300 in Kentucky.

it depends on how much you strip it. one that is stripped like the 4320 can get in around the 7000 area. a man i know has a 4010 down to about 6200. he has the whole hydrolic unit off it with an aluminum cover over it and a seat just bolted to the cover. a 4010 didn't come stock with a turbo is their downfall when people do the stock to the eye crap. another downfall is they don't have equal lock factory, although i'm sure if you want it you can get it....lol.....

I saw stock one pull 10500 today. He was a little light for the class and didn't do much good. A late model engine will weigh a little more than the 404, but I bet that you could get it down to 10000 without too much trouble. Maybe even 9000 if you were real serious.
