I have had some sets of tires that were said to be junk and ended up doing good with them and I have heard of some that were supposed to be the s#!+ that wasn't all that impressive.SO,what is the tire of choice when it comes to antique tractor pulling,Goodriches,Goodyear,Firestone,AgriMark,23degree,45 degree,30 degree and ect? Were talking 14.9,13.6,16.9,and 18.4 38's.Is there a such tire that is more suited for just about all types of tracks?

Hey there Jak. I was at a pull last weekend the 2 winning tractors had super all traction 23 degree firestones the 2 2nd place tractors had 45degree bf's. I really think it depends on the track. One thing though, a friend of mine switched from 23's to 45 bf's and gained 200lbs these were 18.4-38's

Well I know I'm going to get bashed, BUT... in the 13.6 and 14.9 I swear by the 45 degree BFG's.
Up here, it's mostly clay and dirt. Firestone 23's are tough, but personaly, I like the 45 degree tires for the lighter paced classes. Div. 4 or 5, thats another story.....

well Jak I have 15.5's on 45 angle and you see what they will do. I don't think there is a best tire for every track either. You know how different the tracks around here can be but so far mine seem to do fair. Better on some tracks ,worse on others... I'll let you in on my secret though. You hav never noticed it I am sure but right before I pull onto the track I whip out the bottle of Super Glue and pour it on each tire. Gotta be careful though cause if you get more on one side than the other it tends to pull that way,,( I should know...) LMAO!!!!!

Actually I would think that on a really hard track the 23's would be better as it would be a more flat spot on he track but in a loose or sticky track the 45's might work as that is what they were designed for. Who knows....
