What to do with my oliver super 88 diesel

My 88 super has more cranks in the head than a banquet hall during a plumbers convention! What to do, what to do?

Thought about trying to switch it over to gas... Thought about a bigger engine... ?

I now that CID=Horsepower=$$$$

Any thoughts?

My goal would be to go fast down the track on the cheap.

I'm pretty shocked! This post has been on here for two days and no one has told you to sell it and buy a Deere/Farmall/Case/Allis/Minnie Mo yet! Maybe everyone's growing up on here!

Well I bought a Super 88 Diesel last fall with the same idea.My experience with Diesels up to this point had been with newer tractors and with them all you have to do to get more horsepower is turn the fuel screw.But because of the 88 having energy cells instead of direct injection you can't gain over 4 or 5 horse by turning the fuel screw.Another course in the school of hard knocks
I have been told you can bolt on a 1100 Massey head which is direct injection and get a bigger injection pump.If you do that you also have to replace the flat top pistons with crater pistons.So in a nutshell it would probably be cheaper to switch it to gas.But it is fun to blow that black smoke like the big boys.As far as the cracks in the block go,you can have it filled with Hard Block.
