On my Allis chalmers wd i have 2 cracks on the number 2 and 3 spark plug ports. The cracks are on the top lip were the valve cover sits on the head. All it does is after awhile some oil seeps threw and eventually makes it to the spark plugs and then the engine will miss until i change sparkplugs. What should i do. keep changing plugs. weld it or what thanks for any advice.

Just buy another head they are a dime a dozen, Make sure you buy a tall head off a late WD or a wd45

You might get away with trying to seal off the crack where the oil sits and rests on it. maybe grind a small groove in the crack, and either braze it, weld it, or try JB weld. I had a 400 chevy do that, it cracked along the intake runner, it pulled oil right out of the lifter valley and into the cyl. I JB welded it, and it held for about 2 years. Soon as it started leaking again, I found a new set of heads. Not much help I can say unless I seen it, Till then keep a set of plugs handy. Chad
