Why propane head and manifold?

Saw a JD 70 gas farm stock puller advertised recently with a power block and propane head and manifold. What is the advantage of the propane head and manifold on a gas tractor?

On a 70, the LP manifolds are seprate compared to the stock gas which is intake and exhaust in one. This means cooler temps at the intake with the lp manifold, plus you can open them up easier and better.

Right on JDBert. I pull M-M tractors and it is the same way. It's no secret mega power booster, but it helps quiet a bit.

im thinking harden valve seats and rotators only change in heads its done in the pistons

When propane is burned, it creates fewer BTU's of energy than gasoline; therefore, the combustion chamber in the head is designed to be a little smaller on a propane head, in order to increase compression in an attempt to equalize the net power output of a propane engine and a gas engine.

Not sure about the advantages to a propane intake on a gas engine.
