Must have slipped past tech inspection. That Div 2 Oliver 77 in the new Hook is illegal as it gets. NATPA Div 2 rules say "stock block", "no cut tires" and "110% rpms". That 77 has top cut 15.5's, 310 block and really cranks up! What happened here guys? How did it get past the inspection? Was it checked at all? Did anyone look at the hitch? I've seen this thing hook and it's certainly beyond Div 2. Did it win? Someone must have been asleep!

I just got my hook mag. i looked at the pics of the princeton natpa pull. pg 37 and 38. in the 770 pic if you will look just to the left of the rear tire you will see the buckboard on the sled. this is my sled,(i know because of the nasty rusty paint) NOT the sled used at the natpa pull. and if you look at the pic at the top of pg 38 you can see a small headlight just to the right of the back tire on the M. this is the light on the front of our other sled(the white sled). and you can see more of the front of the rusty sled in the pic in the middle of the page. These pics had to have been taken during a USAP pull, not a natpa pull.

Just wanted to clarify that.

What tractor and picture, page no.,are you talking about.I can assure you that I've never seen anyone running cut tires in divII.I hear more complaints about being kicked out because the tires were spun backwards, etc.RPMs? you apparently have never been to an NATPA pull and got to meet up with the tach. that greets each puller as you leave the track?Do you pull NATPA,or you just runnin' your mouth?

Remember:

There are two types of tractor pullers: Cheaters and Losers.

It is sad, but true.

The trick is to cheat and not have anyone know it!

Hey Goldsburg which one are you? Probably both to make a comment like that! I have to disagree. They are allot of good honest pullers out there. They may not always be the winners but they are honest.

He never said they were dishonest. He said they were cheaters or losers. After all, a tractor pull is just a cheating contest with rules. The potential is limited only by the imagination!! Shutup, backup, hookup; let's go!! best, Phil

That's your opinion. We all know what kind of a sport you are now. Did someone jerk your chain or did they step on your tow rope!! Some blow and some go. You can just go blow!!
