Tandem Trailor Question

Generally do most 10,000# tandem trailors have the axels set up with a center pivot? The alternative to this would be to have the shackles for each axel mounted dierectly to the frame, resulting in each axel functioning independantly. Is it satisfactory not to have a center pivot? Acenter pivot is almost necessary. If you have an ajustable hitch you can get by with independent suspension if you use torsion axels and set the hitch so the trailer sits leavel. You will find that the torsion axels ride and pull better than springs, also less maintenance.
