At our pulls we can use cut tires in the open class. I pull the 4000 and 4500 pound class at 5 mph. Would V-cut tires be better than the 16.9X34 straight cuts I have now? What are the advantages of V cuts? Thanks

If the V's are the same size, go with the straight cuts. V-cuts need speed to work, usually 15+ and the more the better.

What about Firestone Super All Traction tires? Does anyone use these in a 5mph class. I am useing 16.9 38 straight cuts thinking about switching to Super All Traction. Any opinions would be great, thanks.
