what does it take to put a distributor on a 605 that has a Mag.

I guess you're talking about a 605 MM? You can put a right angle Delco that bolts on like the mag. Otherwise your mag and govenor drive shaft has to have the splines cut in it to drive a vertical distributor with gear on it. This kind of dist fits in the oil vent tube hole or there may be a plug in that place above the shaft. Most 605s didn't have the shaft cut for that but some did and most 800s did. We have put Vertex mags and even modified 6cyld. Delco HEI distributors in those. Have all kinds of mags for MM and even electronic Bosch and some distributors. No right angle Delcos right now though. Let me know what you're looking for.
