Minnie Mo G Puller Question

My dad is looking at buying a Moline GB gas to pull. Not knowing much about molines, is this a good tractor? How Heavy is the tractor and what classes does it pull well in? What can he do to the motor, part interchange, that kind of stuff. Just trying to help him get an idea of what we can do to make a good puller for him. Any help would be great.

I have two GBDs, a GTB, and a U & UB with 403 and 340 engine respectively. My GBD weighs 7360, but the gas and LP are lighter because they are 4 cyl instead of the big 6. The 403 engine can be built to 800 cubes or more. By simply boring it out, putting on good heads, carb, and cam, and governor, you can get good power for any speed limit classes. I believe a bored modified 403 can get about 120 h.p. if done right. It is one of the best tractor engines ever built.

I pull a stock GB propane. It does great in stock classes with a 3-4 mph speed limet. it origanally came with 15X34 tires wich is 18.4X34 in newer tires. It's a good size for the classes I pull. I took the fenders off mine but left the hydraulics and PTO in because I still use it in the field. It wieghs 6800-6900 with me,(200lbs)depending on scale. I pull 7000 up to 9000 and it as good power. If you are pulling speed limet classes in low gear with uncut tires it will pull well with little or no mods.

MANY CLUBS WILL NOT ALLOW A 14-34 TIRE OR 15-34.
SOME CLUBS WILL NOT ALLOW A 16.9-34 REPLACEMENT TIRE. 38 INCH CASTINGS WILL BOLT RITE ON BUT AT THE SAME TIME MANY CLUBS WILL NOT ALLOW THAT EITHER !
CHECK CLUB RULES ON TIRE SIZES FIRST !
GB STRIPPED DOWN WITH STOCK CASTINGS AND A DRIVER ON BOARD WEIGHT (APROXO 6450-6700)

MOTOR HAS MULTIPLE OPTION'S
