electric water pump question

Hi, I am currently thinking about putting an electric fan and water pump on my Cockshutt 40. I saw where some people are using the type of pump that school buses have to run their rear heaters. I found a couple of these on the internet from bus parts dealers, but there are several variations of how much they will flow in gpm. How much water will I need to flow through a 6cyl gas motor? This motor is just a little over stock cubic inch but will run around 3000rpms if that makes any difference. Thanks very much.

This may not be what you're interested in, but places like Summit and Jeg's sell electric motors that are used to drive an existing water-pump. That might be easier than plumbing in a whole different pump. My two cents.
