I have noticed that weight pricing varies drastically from one region to the next. Here in the MD/PA area you can expect to pay between $0.50 and $0.65 per pound for suitcase weights and usually $0.50/lb or less for wheel weights. That is still fairly cheap if you consider the current price of steel. We are paying around $0.60/lb for plain rebar that 1 year ago was $0.30/lb in very large quantities. It seems like you spend close to $1.00/lb for small quantities of plate and angle.

i'm up in michigan. We have 8 case weights that are black and about 100lbs, thin (like 1" thick) and about prolly 20" tall or so, kinda come to a point. I know the IH weights sell higher, but i like the way the case weights are for the way our weight brackets are set up. email me sometime with prices or trade stuff.

Dont let anyone BS you! IH and JD weights are going for 65 - 75$ a peice. I paid 50 a peice for Ford weights. Especially the 100 lbs ones. They will sell easily at $60 a peice. If you've got themprice them to sell, but no lower than $50 a peice!

That price seems to vary a lot. When they get up above 75 lbs, it looks like the price per pound drops on them. Nobody wants to lift a bunch of these heavy ones in a day. I would say $35 a piece or maybe $650 for the lot. I am in search of some so my price might be lower than what others say. Where are you?

I have seen IH weights go as high as $105 a piece on farm auctions, but as a rule around our area $50-$60 a piece will get you 90-100 pound weights.
