Ok, so a buddy of mine and I have decided that we need to grind tires. Actually, he decided and I have to keep up the the Jones. I searched on the net but I haven't quite found what I think I am looking for. Need a little help.

Call M.E. Miller tire Co. I just bought a fine and a course to fit my 4 1/2 in. grinder . They work good and I believe I paid $28 each.

I have heard/seen a portable planer that does a very good job without the grinding marks left as evidents. Need to have a clean tire so as to not dull the knives.

Here is a link to the e-bay auction listings that I have on my site. There are two different sizes on e-bay at this time. They are not mine, I am just listing tractor pulling related auctions on my site.

I have used 3M 16 grit discs forover 20 years, haven't had any complaints. They don't chew up the tires near as bad as those new metal discs. I think the part# is 01924 not real sure, you can look it up on thier website. Good luck.

1 disc will do a set of tires, if you save that disc it will at the very least rough out another set,1 box of 20 cost $100. Good luck pulling.
