I built ours and it is a wide front.Passes NATPA div3&4 tech. Its 2x2 box fabricated knees and spindles with GM hubs and uses a Pinto rack and pinion.Makes the front of a WD light enough my 13yr old son/ driver and I can pick the front wheels off the ground!Don't take much ballast on the back now!

Build Your Own Outta the original dual wheel narrow front, by cutting it off below the casting, and welding on some stuff to make a single wheel one. I used the rear fork and wheel from a 400 versatile swather and welded it on.

Troy,
It is coming slowly, have been really busy trying to get a job that goes with my college degree and trying to finish up college, now that the snow is melted, i can put my new sled away and think alot more about the tractor. The Power block is what i am waiting on. It is going to be fixable, so that is good. I hope to make it to a few pulls this summer, only made 3 last year. We were hoping to go back into the wc for a little more power, but not sure.

More? lol. Your shooting for Leo and Don aren't you. I have to get paint on mine and finish a few things. I'm know where near Leo's power but pleased with what I have done so far. Dont think I can get down to pull the 3000 lbs with you and Joe though.
