L.W. !
You have ran a million miles to build a great (281) M.
And these are the facts, and they are undisputed!
I am working on a similiar (m) project, and I am on the outside edge, as for pushing maximium low end torque !
STOCK RATIO (10") ROD- (5.25) STROKE !
STROKE-RATIO !1.90476-1
6.25 STROKE- ROD LENGTH, TO STROKE RATIO, THE SAME,
ROD SHOULD MEASURE 11.90475.
THEIR IS ROOM TO PUSH PIN UP !
MY QUESTION !
WOULD TJIS AFFEXT LOW END TORQUE !
WOULD IT RESULT IN THE PERFECT (M) BASED ON THE BOTTOM END , AND KEEPING THE GOMETERY THE SAME !

Asking for your opinion, of a man wanted to spend the money !

Actually a shorter rod will make more torque, hard to believe with the extra piston skirt load, but true,1,000 to 1,200$ will get you a set of custom rods then you can use a off the shelf piston.
