need head for school project

I have a school project that I need to do and I will be in need of a head. For the project I need to model a cylinder head then do some CFD testing of the flow charisterics if time allows. So if any of you guys have junk heads laying around I would gladly pay for shipping. I would prefer the head to be "junk," beyond any forseable repair, as I may need to cut it in half a few times to see some details and I would hate to ruin a good head. They have heads here for us to model, but I wanted to do somthing different, and somthing that I had an interest in. I am looking for a head that fits the M-450 series, preferably the 450 series, and preferably the LP head as I hear that there the best as far as performance is concerned, however I will take what I can get. Thanks!!

Come on guys he said he was looking for a junk head thats beyond repair. Whats anybody going to do with a warped, cracked head?, and don't say try to fix it because most everything is being remanufactured these days and some stuff just isn't worth it unless it's a really rare tractor, but an M is far from it. My advice is visit any place that works on tractors or a salvage yard, even auto junkyards usually have a junk tractor kicking around, or get a head off a V8 car engine, that would be fun to test as well, especially if you access to a flow bench and you could try porting.
Good luck!

For the guys saying dont cut up an IH head, why not? If Redeye is willing to flow one and do research on an IH head, more power to him. If one IH head has to take one for the team and he learns something from it, isnt that good? Maybe he can figure something out on them that can help you out sometime..... .....

I am sorry to say this, but if you are a farmall fan and you are doing this, it just isn't right. Cut you up a Ford head or something. Heck, get you a JD head. But please, don't dismemeber a beloved IH.

surely not a lp head for a 450 , people on this board are willing to give their first born for one of these and then to cut it up ! I say please not the Farmall do it to a Deere something that's not worth much anyways :-) :-)
