Hi. Don't usually come around here. Some of you may have seen my flipover thread in tractor talk, and I don't want to belabor that here.

I do have one question for the puller experts. I have been unable to find any reference on the web to a back flip accident during a tractor pull, but I'm not prepared to say it's never happened.

Does anybody have a reference to one?

Thanks

we had one killed the women. in boone county. didnt help wasnt balance right trike front the cement wall wasnt true vertical was triangle shaped on the bottom like road construction walls she hit that wall just right and pushed that front up and over she went. now i am NOT by any means bashing women drivers but honestly this girl shouldnt have been driving. (some guys shouldnt be either) but her husband backed the tractor up to the sled she got on it pulled it (with the husband running down the center of the track (we run a double lane) she usually ran it till it killed sometimes not but usually till it killed she then got off he got on backed it up unhooked it and drove it off.....now i am NOT bashing women drivers at all dont want to start any wars on here some women drive just fine some know how to balance it work on them im not saying women shouldnt drive im saying that women shouldnt have and ill admit there are men who shouldnt be driving either literally the guy running the sled every year made the sign of the cross before they left was that scary

Dave, they had a little "C" Allis crawl the gears and dump the guy off .But he didn't get hurt. Pontiac, Illinois 2-3 yrs ago. Wheelie bars are a must. They had a little stop under the draw bar but it didn't work. In the Illinois Tractor Pulling rules they have a good reference to the type of wheelie bars and each bar has to be able to hold the tractor up when a floor jack is placed under it.Earl In Illinois
