fuel tank update

Some time back I posted an inquiry about aluminum fuel tanks. I contacted the supplier mentioned and the price of these tanks has really gone up. I did some checking online and found an outfit that manufactures polyethylene tanks. The tank I received today is a 6 gallon tank with 10 x 10 x 15 dimensions and weighs 6 lbs. It has a 1/4/ NPT female fitting in the bottom of it to attach a fuel shutoff or line. And the best part was the price- $55 plus shipping. It looks like it will work out nice with my front weight setup and looks to be a very high quality product. Just wanted to pass the information along. Mike

Where"s you get it from, might work good on our 460 IH utility, what shape, round, square??

This is a rectangular fuel tank and black in color. It includes a vented cap. The website is usplastic.com. The tank I got is about 10 inches tall (not including the fill neck and cap which add a couple of inches), 10 inches wide and 15 inches long. Looks like a very durable tank. Mike
