Well, it is going to be an EDGE&TA South Central Regional Show. The South Central region contains Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. It is going to be held July 22-24 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham, Texas. The Sharecroppers, branch #96 of the EDGE&TA, has rented the entire fairgrounds facility. The pull is going to be under the lower livestock barn, which is about 450" in length. We are doing the tractor pull along with the TATPA. The big sled from Burton will be there to stop the big boys and the TATPA will have their sled there for the little guys. You can check www.sharecropperstx.com for more info. We are going to be updating the website periodically with more information. There will be lots of events for everybody, not just pullers.

Typo, 450' in length. That 450" sure would be a short track.

Might be able to make that one if I get finishe with work in time. Thinking of starting a new job in the fireworks industry and it is really busy befoer and after July 4. I am sure the tractor will be there though. Still havent worked on teh alumnium rims but have gotten all teh parts for the disc brakes, working on making the discs and mounting the calipers. Got some alumnium for teh deck cover to get started. Got all teh pieces for teh big diesel but the rules are screwed up so we are going to wait with putting it together. they say limit to a 2.5 in and 3 out turbo and the next line says limited to a TO4 style housing, (cant get a 2.5x3 in that ) with these rules to push teh limits it is going ot cost big bucks, Let us run a standard 2.5x3 turbo and a p series pump (there are tons of these out there) and you can have a tractor that lasts and only spend around 1500 for the turbo and pump vs. aobut 8000 for a good a pump and a good "little" turbo I am done complaining.

Well, good luck with the job. It is an explosive industry. My dad and I were talking about disc brakes for my Super M, but I think we were just talking. Who knows, we may just end up with some on there. I figured you would have had those aluminum wheels on there. About the diesel class, was your dad on the rules committee? If that is the way it is with it narrowing you down to one type of turbo, that isn't good. It just ends up hurting the class and just letting a few people in. Sure hope you can make it to Burton on the 15-17th. Got fingers crossed for awesome weather.
