VAC CASE

A few days back someone wanted to build a 3500# pulling tractor. He was told to stay away from a vac case because they were too small. Well he should have been at carthage Mo. NATPA pull & seen a vac in the 3250# class. Might be little but packs a big punch.

Why didnt he also pull the 3250b like the C to get some compition, the track conditions were loose enough!

He didn't pull the 3250b because the driver was the owners little brother. If the little VAC"s owner was there it would have been in the b class and put those C farmalls on the trailer where they belong!!

i would shy away from the vac for pulling myself, in as much i wouldn't pull anything but a case. they have a good engine and can get good power out of one with a 430 engine kit, cam, and a little head work, unfortunately the drivetrain will not hold up, speaking from the word of experiance, we farmed with one with oversize kit in it, was a real powerhouse, but axles, axle gears and bull gears are a week pt.

I Know this tractor and of other CASES in the area. All i will say is any tractor can compete in a 3 1/2 mph class. CASE fits just fine in those catagories if there were as many CASES as there are JD,OLIVER,MM,FARMALL, or ALISS you would see just as many placings from them.

G you are right on the money, Case tractors are strong, the DC has the engine setback in relation to others and is large displacement and will get in 4500 on pressed steel, a well tuned stock DC will generally place near the top of the class. DC Tom is very sucessful. Sly
