I need some info on the Glen Rose, Texas pull. Can any one tell me what rules they use. Is it a HP pull or a weight pull. I would hate to drive 150 miles and not get to pull. Are they going to use Hamiltons sled ? Thanks TR

Hey Red,

I have the same questions as you. I would like to go, but not sure of the rules and sled. I think that Mr. Henderson had a sled, but may have sold it. Other than that I do not know who would be doing it. Might have to call the Tatpa lady and get a contact #.

Thats what I was told when I called about a month ago. But, go ahead and mark April 15-17 on your calendars. The Cotton Gin Festival in Burton, Texas (15 min West of Brenham, Hwy 290) is gonna be having another pull. This pull has a great attendance on the sideline. If you come to show or pull there are arts and crafts for the wives. Roger Creagor Friday night and Kevin Fowler Saturday night. Practice on Friday night 6 PM, Saturday 1 PM the pull after the big parade and Sunday early afternoon. email [email protected] for more information.

Bryan, The EDGE&TA branch I am a member of, and now president of, The Sharecroppers, are hosting an EDGE&TA South Central Regional Antique Tractor and Engine Show. It is on the TATPA schedule as Brenham because we are doing the pull along with the TATPA. We'll run two tracks and it will be under cover. We have rented the entire fair grounds for the event. You can get more info from our website, www.sharecropperstx.com We will be updating periodically with more information about this big event. I sure hope you bring your deere down to Burton in April. Its gonna be a big weekend. Get my Aggie Ring on Thursday and pull the rest of the weekend.

Been to the cotton gin pull. Lots of fun. A whole gang of us are going to Glenrose. We live in Bellville. We are going to bring 4 or 5 tractors, whatever we can fit on the trailers. 500 case DCcase, WD9, case 800 we will see.
