'Rooster I'm in the process of settling a lawsuit with a old boy who attacked me with a straight razor. I've come to learn that he's pretty much broke, but he does have a pretty clean John Deere G set up for pulling. 'Think he won a 8200 stock points championship with it last year. The tractor is probably what I'll end up with. 'Was debating whether to scrap it or try and turn a dollar on it. 'Thought maybe you or the jdchick could give me an idea what it might be worth. Would you be interested in it? Make you a deal on it...

Now hold on just a minute there Mr. Flogger! I don't have a dog in that fight between you and the owner of that bad "G" and while I know nothing about the owner's net worth he does build a stout Deere. The "G" that is in question is at my house under my shed and it is being held "Hostage" while he is building my tractor and no one touches that "G" until my tractor is delivered.

I appreciate you letting me know where that tractor is hid. Last time or 2 I asked, he said he lost it in a poker game. I figured it was tucked away somewhere up there. My attorney advised me to ask if you'd be interested in a cash settlement if you insist on keeping the tractor. That's one shape and form of green I don't have a problem with.

Flogger, don't go thinking that just because you're in the process of being adopted that you can just come over and mess with anything green! AND, what JDRooster neglected to tell you was that the "Bad G" in question is under my personal protection until Rooster's tractor is finished.

Now that you know the rest of the story, you might just want to reconsider any recon you might be plotting. I'm sure that you don't want to have to go back home with your tail tucked between your legs.

Hey 'rooster and 'chick,
Good news for a change. I found a buyer for the G. An elderly man from Cowpens SC has agreed to purchase and pick it up saturday. Actually he's a rich man. One of the founders and co-owners on the Oldmulehockie Brewery. 'Rooster I know you're old enough to remember Oldmulehockie beer. Anyway he had a few questions about the G I couldn't answer like does it have an Appleclamp block? Jones pistons? Garys Head? Cam and carb work by somebody named Bobby? I told him to ask you when he picks it up, and just leave a check with you. I'll be up late sat evening to pick up my check... In fact if you'll have the 'chick to set another place at the table I'll stay for supper. I'd also like to insist that you accept a $10.00 brokerage fee for your trouble.
See yall soon!
