Had a phone call from Charlie's brother Gary Baker yesterday that he was killed in a tractor accident yesterday when he got caught under it and crushed.Charlie was a good friend to me and a good person to the people he met and had a great year this past year summer pulling his Case VAC.Some memorable moments this year was his tractor winning at the Oak Harbor,OH pull ,winning the Michigan Super Pull[beating E.Sellers 230],Winning the points at M.T.P.A..I will always remember him being in Spank Mode when he was ready to compete

Gary, I'm very sorry to hear about your brother, even though I never got to meet him I'm sure if he was anything like you I missed out on knowing a very good person. My thoughts are with you and the family. Frank

Very sorry to hear about Charlie. Having only met him a couple of times, I didn't really know him that well, but he was always willing to talk tractors or cars with me. He sat and talked to me and my wife for over two hours at the Oak Harbor pull. My wife and I really enjoyed his company there. Our thoughts and prayer are with you and your family.
