I NOTICED A LITTLE BASHING HEADED IN YOUR DIRECTION. DON'T LET THESE FELLERS GET TO YOU . LITTLE DO THEY REALISE YOU AND YOUNG PULLERS LIKE YOU ARE JUST WHAT THIS OLD SPORT NEEDS TO SURVIVE LONG RANGE . SO ENJOY YOUR TRACTOR AND I HOPE IT RUNS FOR A LONG TIME TO COME . I MUST CONFESS THOUGH I TOO AM A LITTLE BIT JEALOUS OF THE CASE BUT AFTER ALL WHO WOULDN'T BE, AS FOR THE MONEY YOU SPENT ON IT . IT IS AFTERALL YOUR MONEY AND I SEE A LOT OF KIDS YOUR AGE THROWING AWAY THIER MONEY AND LIVES AWAY IN DRUGS AND A WHOLE LOT OF THINGS WORST THAN A PULLING TRACTOR . I LOOK AT IT THIS WAY , SOME PEOPLE HAVE 25,000 BASS BOATS , HUNTING CLUB DUES, GUNS TO BUY , FISHING TACKLE TO BUY . WE PULLERS HAVE OUR TRACTORS. HAVE FUN AND BE CAREFUL DR SR

Just wanted to take a minute and commend this young puller on his efforts. I have been involved with this sport for over 32 years and just recently got into the antiques. But one of the main reasons was that both of my daughters and wife was by my side. They both are starting to pull even though they are 19 and 23 and we do it as a FAMILY thing. Keep up the good work and enjoy!!!

i agree 100%. my son is very proud of our tractor and spends alot of time working on it and going to pulls. and old dad couldn't be happier theres a whole lot of worse things a kid could be doing with his time and money.

I've got three teen-aged boys. The 19yo started pulling when he was 11, one of the 17yo's has been pulling for the last 3 years and is turning into a pretty good mechanic. The other 17yo is a momma's boy and just not interested.

I thought this was going to be my year to get the daughter started but she just bought a couple stinky ol horses. May have to buy the wife a truck so I don't wind up splitting my time between rodeos and tractor pulls...

Guys, In my last message I was a little sleepy it was about 5 Am this morning when I wrote it getting ready for work. But like I said I can't thank all the pullers out there for the encouragement, wisdom, and most of all the advise. There was so many people in Tunica that came up to me and congratulated me on the tractor and I got to sit there and talk to elmer glass and Adamm Camm for a while and they really helped me. Adam told me that morning of the pull "Nathan you have got to respect the tractor but never fear it." Up until my pull I was trying to figure out what that really ment. and after I pulled I instantly had a answer and hear it is a least to me. Fear and respect in tractor pulling is like a double edged sword that is finely sharpend. If you fear the tractor two much it will ruin the fun of the pull and maybe get you hurt and if you respect it to much you will not do good because you won't give it's all. but If you can find that fine line between the edges of the sword that's when you will be come a great puller. And I have notice some great pullers have had some bad times before. and again just like that sword it get a little dull and it just needs to be sharpend again. For example learning something new to help us pull better. Guys that may not make any since to you all but it sure does to me. I am really execited about meeting more people my age that pull so if you are at a tractor pull and you see me come haller at me. and Exspecially the single girls.

I started pulling when I was 13 and it has been hard to gain respect from some pullers, take it all in stride, speak to people even if you know that they don't don't like you(this pisses them off even more) and take no s**t off of anyone. There will always be those few who hate themselves. Say you're from east TN? Bring that thing westward this summer! My # is 931-212-3602 if you need any pull info or just want to B.S.
