Just bought a farmall 350. I"m going to build the engine and put in an h. I would like to know if the clutch and flywheel will fit right in or do i have to use the h clutch and flywheel? Also wondering how much i can stroke it without having to do too much work to the block. Is there anywhere i can buy a piston and sleeve kit that will accomidate with the stroked crank so i dont have to have any work done to a new set of oem pistons? I would like to use the stock rods thats why i"m asking. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

We put a 350 in our H and stroked it 1/2 inch. a little grinding in teh block where the rod cap bolts hit the side of teh block but not much at all. I used playdoo(sp) and put it on teh bolt head and watched how big teh indent was on it when it hit, we are using ARP fasteners so they were a little smaller profile than stock also. dont remember if we had to clearence the cam any but know we will if we stroke it 1/2 inch more. Now we are at 231 inches.

Just a 1/2 inch, or the full 1/2 offset for a 1 inch stroker? at just a !/2 inch, (1/4 offset) nope, no block work, but Im guessing, since 231 cubes, and what you described, it has a 1/2 inch offest (1in stroker) So, yes, you should have had to cut the cam, if stock rods were used,,, I reccesed the rod bolts deeper in the cap using a mill to make the cut,, then,, less cutting on the block, and rods. Standard proceedure for anything over 1 inch strokers. ChadS

You will have to change the fan blade on the water pump too, the 300 and 350 have a slightly bigger blade and will hit the shroud on the radiator. Just put your H fan on the 350 motor.

350 flywheel, 350 pressure plate, Super H clutch disk, and H throwout bearing, and the H pilot bearing. Thats all it takes. 350 has a 10.5 inch clutch but different imput shaft splines, the Super H, has the 10.5 clutch disk, and the H input shaft spline. ChadS
