Anyone have pics of the winners??? KOH.. I saw all the pics on the Hook page.. but I don't know which tractor is which... I only saw 2 JD 70's... and a ton of M's.... Which tractors won...

I think it came from Morris Massey, owner of the Case..Mississippi Sharecropper, of Mcool, MS. It seems that's what Chris said. Guess it went through Texas before Chris got hold of it. Bet Morris wishes he had the 70 back as well as the money he paid for the Case...Spotter

All I remember is that the 70 Came back on the semi on one of the trips to Cleveland... I think it was here in TX for 2 years.. but it wasn't pulled very many times.... JDGnut

What does Morris's CASE have to do with this post? Why don't you call Morris yourself and tell him your feelings instead of bashing him on here! At least he has actually won some pulls with his tractor! Tunica was OK, but it is not all that matters. I've been to worse and better pulls, quit acting like it's all that matters and you are the king! Maybe you would have enforced your rpm rule with a MM that was screaming at the end of his runs IF you actually controlled that pull!! Oh yeah, great job on the track!! What a long drive to pull on dust!

King Spotter, does have an appealing ring to it but hardly my ambition.

Morris happens to be a fellow club member and friend. My mention of the Case was simply a means to identify Morris to previous posters. Any "tongue in cheek" comments pertaining to the "70" and the Case were just that and were far less severe than the comments and frustrations Morris has expressed regarding the performance of his Case.

I am happy that my post has allowed you to vent your own frustrations (whatever they may be) and afforded you the opportunity of expressing your opinions of the Tunica pull. But to follow your lead, "What does Tunica have to do with this string of posts?".....Spotter

In a class of 60-70 tractors, it's nice your payback was "set" already! Lots of us that pulled there would have like to see a percent of payback! Your set money was nice if 10 tractors, but 60-70??? I think Spotter is making a little cash on the side!?! Again, refer to Morris negatively...it'll soon come back to haunt you!

NO! The hot chocolate was COLD! You really promote this pull well, so cordial! Several Tunica postings have been faxed to Fitzgerald's management so they can see how things work! The amount of pullers that attend there, wow, they do that all the time. The negative comments you type regarding fellow pullers, well, they will like that! Answer again, why didn't you enforce rpms? There is no need for any rules if you won't enforce them! You know that one MM had to be turning 3500 plus! I hope noone gets hurt, but if/when that happens cause you can't enforce rpm limits, well spot, it's all you buddy!

Ive been reading all the posts following the Tunica event and have this to say: Don't you love it when you work you a$$ off to put on a pull so everyone can have fun (except you) and then gripe about rules, track, parking, trophies, money payback, sled gearing, flagmen, engine blocks, mph, rpm, fuel, how late it runs, what time it starts, weight backets, wheelie bars, etc. I am not trying to start anything but we need to sit down and think about all of this. Nothing will ever be perfect, and I wondered what happened to the groups that would come to have a good time, and shoot the breeze and not act so anal about these things. People need to enjoy it more and be appreciative of those who give them the oppurtunity to go pull!

Thanks for "TOOT"-ing another horn. Some just like to instigate. They rarely have anything of substance to add to the discussion so trying to antagonize is all they have left.

Thick skin comes with "old age", so most of it I find comical at best. The more they "talk", the more they show their Intelligence Quotient (or lack thereof)...Spotter
