On behalf of Central Ky. Antique Pullers (CKAP) we would like to thank everyone involved with the pull. We left home with 18 tractors--met a few more of our guys down there and come home with some winnings and an extra tractor. We could have not asked for a better vacation for the group. (Well, truth be told, I would have liked to have won!!) Our group took home a few 1st, several 2nd's and lots of top 10 finishes--way to go gang. Hats off to the Mean Green team for their efforts and just to let you know--we're already getting ready for NEXT YEAR!!!

Tracy & the rest of the CKAP gang

I would think for as many pullers that they have and as many years they have been putting on the pull, the track would be alot better. I have been the last 5 yrs. and this year's track was by far the sorriest. It was also another cheatfest with hitches. did anyone else notice the weight difference between the two scales? Seems the the guy with the blue sled has been toying with his a little. One other thing, did anyone else hear the horn blow on the blue sled? the speed/horn isn't automatic on it, the driver has to push a button. For a nationally recognized pull like tunica, I would think an automatic horn would be a must! We did have a great time, lots of good tractors, just think that things could be a whole lot better for just one pull a year.

Sounds like a true GREEN-BLOODED, oops, I meant red-blooded, American. Pops told me he actually heard someone say that every advantage was given to the "all others" KOH pullers. That's really LOL !!! Why do you think the Deere's are separated from all others? So they'll be guaranteed 2nd at the worst !!!!! And why are you complaining about the track? Didn't everyone pull on the same two tracks? Good or bad, you take what you get. Sometimes it's better than others. Do you gripe if you win on a sorry track? The Mean Green Pulling Team does an excellent job !!! Try again next year. That's what the rest of us who didn't even come close to winning will do. Lighten up a little and have some fun. Maybe someday the American Flag will be green and yellow with 50 Deere on it and you can be happy about something.

Lamont,
I wish all the guys that complain could have had as good a time as Pops, you, the junk yard gang and I had coming and going to the pulls. I don't think they would cry as much. So, for all you whiners I hope you get my wish for you this Christmas, that the fleas of a thousand dogs take up residence in your underwear!!!!! !!!!! !!!!! ! Get off the Tunica's folks back and take what you get then load your tractor and go home to pull another day!!!!! !! Great event guys!!!!! !

The blue sled has had an automatic horn for over 2 years.
