The Mean Green Pulling Team wants to thank all the pullers that made 2004 the best pull we've had to date. It would never have been possible without your support and co-operation. There were a total of 834 hooks for the two days without any major or minor incidents to spoil the occasion.

We hope that everyone had as much fun pulling and watching as we did. We're all tired, hoarse and glad that we made it through the two days yet at the same time are already beginning to miss all the "good folks" we enjoyed being with.

I'll get the class winners posted as soon as we can sort through all the results. In the mean time if anyone has any specific questions about their finishing positions please don't hesitate to e-mail me through the website.

We're hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and see ya'll again in Tunica in 2005.

To all of Mean Green Pulling Team, we had a great time, very organized, not impressed with track but it held our little CC. We got to see alot of ole friends and make some new. Hope to be back next year and will see you in Winona in January.

Thanks Spotter and all the gang for a REAL weekend.I don't know which one you was but I probably seen you.By the way Jim Hutson was there and he pulled and the machine was NOT blown up.The track didn't seem to be as good as it used to be in years past.P.S.the 830 diesel was hammerin.

Jak,
I'll agree that the track was not as tight as normal. However, it did stand the "butt heavy" FatLady straight up. We could have taken a picture of the ceiling had our grill been a camera.

The Arena uses the same dirt for other events (rodeos and such) and I think the "gumbo" we started out with is getting a little "sandy" for my liking. It still held up pretty good for the number of tractors we had but I do plan to bring this up at our next meeting. Don't know what we as a club can do about it since we are bound to use what the Arena furnishes but I will bring it up.

I was sitting on the right hand of the announcer keeping up with and rechecking the results on the Green Sled.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone involved with the Tunica pulls. Y'all are a great bunch of guys and gals. It was the first time I had hooked my little Case 700 to the sled so it was more of a test run for me to see what I needed to do to it. I found out it needs a fuel pump cause gravity flow AIN'T enough and 16 psi in the tires AIN'T neither. Looks like big brother is going to learn how to either adjust or replace a clutch in a Case DC. Everyone was really nice and respectful. As tired as Pops was, he's already talking about "next time." I sure hope we can attend next year. BIG THANKS AGAIN !!!

Thanks from the Hooker and family. We really enjoyed the pull and socializing with everyone. I made a couple of good passes and goofed on the last one. Real good show! H.H.
