what is the smallest width tire used with a 18.5 X 38 rim?

20.8X38 uses a "18 rim is the biggest size. the smallest that i would go is 16.9x38 the 15.5 might work but has a better chance to let lose unless you have some deeptreads or for that matter any firestone they strech alot better than the rest.

18.9 X 38 will do o.k. then? these are replacement rims, and seem to be a fair price.

how much difference in cost betwwen 18.9 X 38 and 20.8 X 38 tires?

Will go with non radials. small farm,
smaller budget.

i sold a set of new 18.4x38 tracton feild and roads with new tubes and rims for 800.00 last spring. but anyway new tires form a dealer would run around 400 apeace. 20.8 are alittle more. thats firesotne you can get cheeper tires also it all depends what you put the tires on.

Say a pair of 15.5 's mounted on 18" rims once but wouldnt trust it!!
