What is a dead man throttle? Also how do you hook up a kill switch for an Oliver 77 diesel? Mike

I pull a s88 diesel, the best way to do a kill switch is to shut off the air. To do this you will have to drill a hole in your hood and put a straight pipe off your intake. Get a rain cap and drill a hole in it and stick a pin through it and tie the pin to a cable so when the cable is pulled it also pulls the pin and the rain cap shuts and kills the air which should also kill the tractor.

dead man throttle is a throttle that when your hand come off it goes bAck to idle (spring loaded that way if anything happens just let go and back to idle ) it works and should be a good item to add to any pro stock tractors. most guys have a flapper that if the kill switch is pulled the hair clip will come out and shut the air intake off.
